As we are developing the concept and the business there are a number of tours that we are still working on the finer details of, but will have them ready for you shortly.    Below is a detailed list of what is available and a hint of what is to come

Camp:  Avoca Bush Camp

Reserve:  Timbavati Private Nature Reserve


Cycling Info:  Timbavati falls within the Savanna Biome which includes both grass and tree layers.  This results in high levels of biodiversity and a wide variety of species within.  The landscape is relatively flat with varying tracks through open plans and wooded Riverine areas.  Cycling is mainly on 2 man tracks and the odd elephant path single track where possible


Accommodation Type: Cosy and Comfortable Log Cabins


Description: The camp sleeps 8 people in log cabins with a main lodge area, pool, and boma. A private chef will attend to your gourmet needs if catering is selected as an option

 


THE “SNAZZY-CASUAL-COMFORTABLE” OPTION

Camp:  Avoca Bush Camp

Reserve:  Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Camp:  Maseke Mobile Camp

Reserve:   Maseke Game Reserve


Cycling Info:  Maseke is a beautiful reserve with mixed bushveld, granite hills and undulating scenary


Accommodation:  Dome tents in a mobile camp that will move from location to location as you cycle through the reserve.  


Description: This option will give you the “closest to nature” experiene in the current RideWild Portfolio as it is camping at its best.   The camp will consist of small 2 man dome tents in a mobile camp that will move day to day with you as you traverse through the Maseke Game Reserve.   (The camp will be transported in vehicles and you will not need to carry it on the back of your bicycle with you )… Sigh of relief I hear from you… therefore creating an experience truly away from the “rat race” and urban world.

Camp:  Tuskers Bush Camp


Reserve:


Cycling Info:  This reserve offers great cycling opportunities with a variety of different landscapes that one can travel through from Mopane veld to mixed bushveld.   This is a great way to experience the magic of Botswana


Accommodation: 6 Meru-stule canvas units located secreteively between the trees. (Groups limted to 8 pax per group)   Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom attached.


Description: Tuskers shares a prime location in a 365 000 hectare private concession on the eastern edge of the Moremi Game Reserve. Game is plentiful and will allow for some casual relaxed game viewing on the back of your bicycle.

Camp:  The Outpost

Reserve:  Maluleke Concession, Kruger National Park


Cycling Info:   The Malukeke Concession in the very north of the Kruger  has to be one of the most beautiful areas in the entire National Park.  Cycling in this area will take you through expansive Fever Tree Forests, along the Levhuvhu and the Limpopo rivers and up to Lanner Gorge.  All of these offer mind blowing vistas and scenery.  This is the epitome of the cycling experience.


Accommodation Type: 12 luxury “spaces” perched on the end of a cliff.   


Description: The Outpost has to offer the most unique accommodaton ever conceptualised.   You will be accommodated in a stand alone, open plan, luxury "space", as it is referred to, complete with uninterrupted views of the valley below.  The open feel of the room extends into a comfortable lounge and an awared winning bathroom, which can be screened off for privacy, or open to the environment around you,  The stone bath and open shower boasts views as far as Mozambique

Camp:  Pel’s Post

Reserve:  Maluleke Concession, Kruger National Park
